Talk: Paul Zindel

When i was 12 years old and i was a shy, cowardly chubby girl i discovered the school library. It was my safe haven during lunch hours and free periods. I met a wonderful librarian who meant the world to me. She was everything, my anchor in this world that for that dark period in my life i didn't want to be in. The library was a mess. She was throwing things out and she gave me free books. She introduced me to Paul Zindel, the author of "The Pigman and Me". I fell in love with this book because it was accurate in that kids feel out of place and that they need guidance through life. I felt like i was not the only one that felt left out. In other words i fell in love with Paul Zindel. I inhaled his books like a lifeline until the inevitable happened: i grew up.
In high school i found out he died in 2004 but then i found out it was really in 2003 and i would have been too late to meet him anyway. A week ago i decided to wikipedia him and found out he was buried in the Moravian cemetery in Staten Island so i took the express bus there and went to visit his grave. I got all emotional (because i felt like being emotional that day) and started talking to his tomb stone. In my defense I've been seeing a lot of "One Tree Hill" lately and all they do is talk to graves in that show. So i decided to try it out and even though there was no one there i felt like a fool. I have a whole new respect for actors. But i digress...
It was an awesome experience to talk to one of my favorite authors (even if it was just his tomb stone) i never really got to express to my beautiful librarian that i loved her and that she saved my life but i got to thank one of my favorite authors for providing the escape i needed.

Everyone is not so lucky to know who changed their lives and made them who they are today. I love making people happy because someone made me happy unconditionally and i love books because someone nurtured that love in me. I owe my sanity to that librarian and now i can't find her and thank her. If you are out there i love you and thank you Jane Pierce.

Talk: Hugh Jackman's Frankenstein Wife

Is there anything more horrible in this world than seeing a hot man such as Hugh Jackman with a frankenstein wife like Deborra-Lee Furness? I could not believe it! I found myself seeing all of his movies and seeing his hot naked body running at top speed in Wolverine and i said to myself who is the hot babe with this guy? So of course, i Googled it and when i saw this picture i nearly keeled over. What terrible injustice is this? i know im a little late in the news that she is ugly but people this type of information should be on the homepage of Google! I am so upset right now i was picturing a hot model or a hot Scarlett Johansson type actress and this what i got. I guess i should feel more sorry for him than for me...but...Damn!

PS. Does she not own a brush? WOWZA ALFALFA!

Phones: HTC Wildfire

I just went into J and R in Macy's to buy my new phone: the HTC Wildfire. I've been using it for about an hour and i love it. I had convinced myself that i hated android phones simply because i had a sluggish Mytouch 3G so I'm happy to know that Android 2.1 Eclair is way better than 1.6 software. The keyboard is much better and gives me a slight vibration every time i hit a key plus i love Android's word suggestions. This phone has made me rethink my opinion about Android and I have become more than an Apple fan. It will never beat an Iphone but... i got an ipod touch.

Movies: The Expendables

This movies was AWESOME. It stars all the great legends: Sylvester Stallone(Rambo, Rocky), Jason Statham ((Fucking Dreamy!)Transporter, Crank), Jet Li (War, Unleashed), Steve Austin (Wrestler), Bruce Willis (Live Free, Die hard). Honestly i thought it was gonna suck since there were so many great actors i thought it was going to take away from the plot but it didn't. Everybody got their ass kicked by Jason Statham the best actor in there. He was amazing with throwing Knives and a gun and was the only one who came out of the fight without a scratch. Steve Austin was bad ass with his HUGE muscles. The movie was action from beginning to end, it was funny and it really made you realize why these actors are legends. Although the most hilarious thing was watching Stallone running. He looked like a fat kid running toward cake. He looked plain clumsy. Jason Statham was the best actor in there, HE KICKED SO MUCH ASS. Statham has everything: He got the hard jaw, the British accent, the green eyes, the hard muscles, the toughness, the attitude, he's charming, the coolness, the hotness, the roughness, the brooding, the mysteriousness and he's funny. I love him. HE IS THE BEST ACTOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and of course Bruce Willis was Hot and funny with his beautiful blue eyes.

Phones: Iphone 4 vs Samsung Vibrant

Yes, i am an Apple fan but once in a while i enter the land of the objective. So here are my pros and cons for each phone.

Samsung Vibrant:

Pros: Super AMOLED display, android 2.1( with 2.2 froyo on the way!), Flash lite 3.1, 720p, 1 ghrtz Processorm, face/smile detection camera, up to 48gb of memory, regular sim card, cheaper than iphone 4

Cons: Android market not as good as app store, no LED flash, plasticky back cover, zoom in and zoom out in browser

Apple Iphone 4:

Pros: Retina display, multi- touch browser, app store, ipod,

Cons: micro sim card, itunes, current issues with sensor and signal

My opinion:

While i am an Apple fan i have to say that the guys at Samsung have outdone themselves. The Samsung display is a little bit better than the Iphone 4, the camera takes nice pictures and has more settings than the Iphone. Samsung's 1 ghrtz processor is a little bit faster than the iphone and it is definiteley worth checking out. However, if you are willing to put up with all the trouble i think it would be best to buy an Iphone 4 for the following reasons. (1) Apple has the best ipod and it does not matter that a lot of tech reviewers say that samsung has a good mp3 player because the fact is that the Ipod in the iphone always has felt like is just you and your music. On other devices the mp3 player has always and will always feel like an afterthought. With apple you pay for quality sound and for quality period. (2) when you touch an iphone you can feel the smoothness of the liquid like screen and is like you're touching water. No phone is as smooth. (3) the app store has over 200, 000 applications that makes the iphone do anything but go to the bathroom for you. If you have a hacked iphone you can have cydia and installer for even more applications. I know that the point is to get as much features in the phone out of the box but with the iphone any feature you want can be achieved through app store, installer or cydia. (4) An Android software will never be better than An apple software due to the fact that Apple's software is more open and allows for more complex applications than the android market will never be able to run. (5) When touching an iphone you feel that you go through less menus than you go through in any other device. (6) The iphone 4 has almost unlimited panels while the Samsung Vibrant has maybe 8 panels or less to store applications. (7) In other devices you have to go through a menu to access other applications due to the limited panels, while in the Iphone 4 everything is right at your fingertips. (8) the wifi takes less to connect in an iphone. (9) Android keyboard is not accurate, Iphone keyboard like liquid.

Bottom Line: Let's face it, we all buy these smartphones for convenience and the iphone delivers that. People complain the iphone does not have FM: go to appstore and get Pandora or a regular radio whatever you prefer. People complain the iphone has itunes: when you use other devices the same music multiplies and with itunes you get warnings, genius mixes and a better ipod. Some devices already have coverflow albums: I wonder where they got that from?! People complain the iphone does not have flash: There's an application for that and even if other devices did have it, they dont have the quality browser to pull it off. People complain the speaker is not loud enough: Theres an application for that as well. Whatever is wrong could be fixed by a developer. Tell me what would happen if something like this happened to an android phone? Yeah they'd have to make a new software altogether.


I know i sound like an iphone freak but all these people clamoring for a Samsung Vibrant are just Apple haters. There are some people who don't like companies to get this big and Apple is royalty and will forever BE royalty. Just using safari makes me love Apple. Everything is so much smoother. When using an Android browser i had to keep pressing the same button and it took forever. I use my ipod all the time for internet use, games and other needs and i have an android phone. I love Google and im eager to see what comes out in the new 2.2 Froyo software but until then Apple is still the King.

Talk: Iphone 4G

If you haven't been living under a rock you should know i am a huge Steve Jobs fan. Not an Apple fan, a Steve Jobs fan. So it is no surprise that i am very upset at how they are bashing him in the media this last month. I read a shocking article that claimed Consumer Reports will not stand behind Apple. I hope Consumer Reports is ready to eat their own words because if there is one genius in this world it is Steve Jobs. Apple would be and was not anything without Steve Jobs and i am going to laugh evilly when Steve Jobs gets out of this bind. It will disgust me when everyone happily claims that Apple is the best again since they are quick to turn away and not believe in the company now while in this crisis. I firmly believe that Steve Jobs will find a solution and i am upset that they are bashing him for taking it lightly. He is taking it lightly because he is smart and he knows he will laugh at the public when they go crawling back to Apple. The new Iphone 4G "Death Grip" issues will not bring Apple down. For God sakes people take your free stupid case and keep it moving. PROBLEM FIXED. Why do humans like to make life complicated? Feel sorry for those who are not fortunate enough to have the new Iphone and cannot afford the $1500 it cost to get it unlocked from Ebay.

Talk: Life and Death

I am a pretty unemotional person. I sometimes think like im acting unemotional to be dramatic but then i realize im numb. My grandather passed away and i was very happy i even wished him a good day by the express elevator to hell that he was takling. My grandmother also passed away and i felt nothing once again. The thing is we were very close. In fact she once walked in a hurricane to my house just to make sure that we were okay. Can you imagine that? A 60 year old walking through a hurricane for two miles in the Dominican Republic with roofs flying off houses which could have easily killed her. I remember this and i feel something...not because she was my grandmother but because these type of people is how i know God exists. I love my mom and i dread losing her but only because she's been with me forever. She is the one constant thing in my life and i treasure her. Would i cry if she died? Probably not. My rules in life are these:
1. Do not have any pride: Pride will get you nowhere. Pride gets in the way of life. Pride will destroy you while at the same time deceiving you with nice feelings.
2. Death is inevitable: Whatever you do the worst that can happen is death and death is inevitable. So you might as well die doing something you want to do rather then tripping over your left foot, falling and cracking your head open.
3. Don't get attached to human beings to the point of grieving at their funeral. Death is inevitable and humans are fragile. Celebrate death because with death comes birth. A death brings happiness to other people and therefore there is maximum amount of happiness on earth. While a family member dies a beautiful pink baby girl is being born and she is goodness itself and will make the maximum amount of people happy. Humans are like the wind they are only here for a while and then someone else comes and takes their place. It is a waste of time to get attached.
4. Be happy. People always want to see you fall, don't give them the satisfaction. Laugh at people's misery and know that you are happier than them.
5. Involve yourself in the Big Three that lets you know God exists:Music, Books and Movies.

These are my philosophies and for this reason i am always smiling and best of all my smile spreads through the world to echo in every person's face. There is no death or sadness just happiness but humans will forever need the former to appreciate the latter.

Talk: Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston...again

I hope you guys can bear with me as i grow into opinions and then change them altogether. As you know i had written about the love triangle of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. I of course sided with Jennifer Aniston who i thought was more homey but i found out some facts in my recent investigation. Apparently Jennifer Aniston cannot have kids and unfortunately she hooked up with the one guy who did want them: Brad Pitt. Now i get that he wants kids but didnt he adopt like a thousand kids with Angelina but i guess is the woman not the kids which i finally understand. I, as a book reader should know better than to judge a book by its cover. Surmise it to say i judged Angelina's actions as unloving when i had not even looked at her in action with Brad Pitt. I saw Mr and Mrs smith today and i understand why they are in love: They are so good together! I also realized this when i saw a Youtube video of them having dinner together. I noticed that Angelina smiled a lot at Brad and that she touched him lovingly. Did she know there was a reporter filming them? Yes. However, i don't believe that is why she was acting like a loving domestic partner. While i feel bad for Jennifer Aniston i can see that she and Brad would not have worked out and that Brad is happier with Angelina. Another thing is that i could actually see Brad falling in love with Angelina on the set of Mr and Mrs. Smith and it broke my heart for Jennifer. But what can i do? Brad is happier with Angelina and with good reason since she is sexy and they don't have to deal with the pressure of marriage papers. If you notice trouble between a couple always occurs when they get married. Is like they feel suffocated and automatically want to get out of it. Forever is too astounding a concept. Which is why Brad and Angelina will do just fine.

P.S. I stand by my comment of her philanthropic tendencies. Brad needs a lot more loving because he is so hot!

Talk: Jesse Mccartney Again....

Apparently there is a hot-line in which you can call Jesse McCartney. I have just become obsessed with him after i saw the film "Keith". Im mad at myself for not seeing what a great singer he was before and Im mad at myself for being crazy about him when i dont even know him. I feel sad that if Jesse was to become a "bad boy" fans that said they loved him so much would dump him in a flash. I feel sad that he can't be himself and has to be careful of what he says all the time. I don't know how anyone can fault artists and actors when they turn to drugs. Because to be doing what you love but the price being judged all the time? I would kill myself. I have proven to myself that im not one of those fans that just take from these artists and actors without stopping to think that they are human first. I proved this to myself when i saw Julianne Moore, smiled and kept on walking. She was at the Poconos with her family and i realized that she just wanted to spend time with her kids and that she needed that and i had no right to intrude. I like Jesse McCartney, not only because of his looks or his voice but because he has something that all of us wished we had: The power to make millions of people happy. To have that skill is doing God's work because that is amazing and something that we should all start to do even if is not on a national level. This is why i said McCartney could rape, kill, assault, curse and rage all he likes because is his life and we are just lucky that he takes time away from his life to produce a smile on million of people's faces. He is blessed indeed and i pray for him to have everything he ever wanted or needed and people like him is why i believe in God. God bless you Jesse McCartney.

Movies: Keith

I obviously could not just talk about Jesse McCartney just once so here is my objective review of his film "Keith" which was released in 2008.

Review

"Keith" starts with Natalie played by Elizabeth Harnois in the back of a yellow track seemingly almost about to go over the cliff. The car does not have the brakes on so is slowly driving itself off the cliff. However, the scene suddenly switches to Natalie's eyes flashing open as she wakes up and gets up to practice her tennis at 5am. She then arrives at school and starts her AP Chemistry class and is paired up with Keith Zetterstrom played by Jesse McCartney. Keith is shown before this scene to be with a counselor playing pool and expressing his interest in Natalie by saying he's planning to have "fun" with her. They then start to talk in Chemistry and he coaxes her to go with him to these "adventures" and play these "scenes" where they both pretend to be someone else. One day they are both sitting in the back of Keith's truck and talking about what they want to do when they graduate high school. Keith talks about wanting to go to a truck show and Natalie is going to London with her best friend and boyfriend. While Keith is rambling on Natalie notices that the truck is moving by itself. She jumps out of the truck but Keith stays in the truck while the truck gets closer and close to the cliff. Meanwhile Natalie is sobbing and screaming for him to jump out but right before the truck goes over he swiftly gets in the truck and puts on the brakes. Natalie becomes upset and accuses him of having gotten "too close" and wanting to die. Keith responds by saying that she doesn't know what "close is". Mean while Natalie becomes involved with the school stud but still she goes out at nights with Keith and his yellow truck and falls in love with him. One day she discovers antidepressants in a coat that he loaned her and confronted him about it after he disappeared for two weeks. She found out he deliberately planned for her to be his lab partner and was shocked. She became more obsessed with him and was determined to find out about him so she broke into his locker to get his real address as she found out he lied to her about where he lived and everything about his home life. Because she broke into his locker, straight A student Natalie gets suspended and goes to Keith's real house but he refuses to see her since he was mad she found out where he lived. Natalie sneaks into his truck knowing that he would take a ride in his truck. Keith went to his secret spot overlooking "The Brick" where Natalie and her clique hung out and where he always watched her from. He stood there watching the other side sadly and Natalie got out of the truck. She started crying and telling him that she wanted to be with him and that with him everything was different. Keith crying himself turns around, rushes to her and kisses her. Natalie then gives him her virginity in the back of his yellow truck. However, once he gets her home Keith tells Natalie to forget about what they did and to go back to her boyfriend. She tells him "Fuck you" and he says " you already did". Natalie slams out of his truck and during the next couple of days is angry and sad about Keith. While driving fast to get away from her overbearing parents she notices Keith's counselor who she had met before along with a little boy named Billy who was a friend of Keith. She follows the counselor's car and walks into a store where she asks if Keith has seen Billy lately and the counselor told her that Billy passed away. Natalie, shocked asked how Keith knew Billy and the counselor said Billy and Keith were in chemo together. At this, Natalie starts crying and slams out of the store, she goes to see Keith but he doesn't want to see her. The next day Keith walks into Chemistry and tries to play everything off and Natalie gets upset at his jokes and stalks out of the classroom. Keith then goes by her house and she asks him why he did not tell her that he had cancer. He replied "at least everything wasn't sympathy for the sick kid" Natalie said that that was not fair and Keith gets upset and asks her if is fair that she gets to go to London and Duke University while he is dying and will probably not make it to his truck show. Natalie then convinces him to pull a final scene where they say goodbye and Keith insults her, telling her that he screwed her, screwed her big time. With tears in her eyes Natalie braves on and asks him to try the goodbye scene again. He turns around to leave but turns back and said that he was resigned to his eventual death but that when he met her it became "weird'. After a declaration of love he turns around and leaves, creating a goodbye scene at the airport. Natalie runs after him and tells him she's gonna stay with him until he's gone and they kiss. In the next scene Natalie is shown packing up Keith's locker and walks with her best friend toward her graduation. Keith is not seen and is presumed dead before graduation. The scene in the beginning with Natalie in the back of the yellow truck is the last scene with Natalie putting on the breaks before the truck goes over just like Keith had done before. This showed how Keith made her into a more impulsive and risk taking person and this is how Natalie keeps him in her memory.

Opinion

One thing i always ask myself is if Keith was not dying and if Romeo had not thought Juliet was dead would they have stayed together forever? I don't think so. The reason why Keith went after Natalie was because he no longer felt he should be shy about asking out the popular girl when he was dying and had nothing to lose. His imminent death was also the cause for his sarcasm, denial and risk taking tendencies. Would he have spend time with Natalie if he hadn't been dying? probably not and thus they would not have fallen in love. Just like Romeo and Juliet would not have made it since they didn't think anything through when they decided to run away. Is better when the character dies because is a tragedy and you get to cry and fantasize about what could have happened.

Performance

This was an awesome performance. Jesse McCartney was quirky and handsome and romantic. It was a beautiful love/hate relationship and their "scenes" and "adventures" are the elements that makes the movie sensational. It doesn't hurt to stare at the beautiful Jesse McCartney for a while and that is mostly why i continue to watch the movie repeatedly.

Bottom Line: WATCH THIS MOVIE!

Talk: Jesse Mccartney

Now ask yourself this, who could hurt this beautiful angel? Look at his beautiful eyes and silky blond hair who wouldn't want this guy? Well i think you should ask this question to Katie Cassidy. I just saw several interviews of Jesse Mccartney and he looked bummed that they broke up and i could tell he liked her a lot. However, there is always an imbalance in a relationship and Jesse always looked more in love than she did. I mean she was always smiling at the camera and even while she was kissing him she's staring at the camera with her peripheral vision. I feel so sad for him and even more now that i have become obsessed with him. I recently discovered one of McCartney's films titled "Keith" the film is similar to "A Walk To Remember" with Shane West and Mandy Moore but it produced less waterworks. Jesse McCartney was amazing in this film and I've seen it everyday for the last week. I definitely recommend it if you feel like staring at this beautiful angel for 90 minutes.

Movies: Killers

You might not have known this about me but i absolutely loooooooooooove Ashton Kutcher. His face is ageless, his body is perfect and he has a good sense of humor judging by his posts on twitter. Thus, it is no surprise that i absolutely loved the movie Killers which came out last Friday on June 4th. I loved it so much that i saw it twice, once by myself and once with my sister and her friend. However, in order to "love it" you have to really be devoted to Ashton Kutcher because the feedback that i got from my sister and her friend was that the movie was crap and not very funny. I of course disagreed but what do i know? i am blinded by my love for Ashton Kutcher. Therefore, to preserve my objectivity im going to give an honest and objective review below so check it out.

Review:

Killers, a movie starring Ashton Kutcher (from Dude Where's My Car, That 70's show) and Katherine Heigl( Knocked Up , 27 Dresses) is about a lonely woman played by Heigl named Jenny who meets a guy played by Kutcher named Spencer while on vacation with her over protective dad and hilariously alcoholic mom. To cut the story short boy meets girl, boy tells girl he works as a "consultant", boy is actually a spy and after 3 years of being married she finally finds out but boy had already quit his spy job in the CIA. After ridiculous scenes of all of Spencer's neighbors trying to kill him (and i mean every single one!) it turns out that Jenny's father was the one who was trying to kill them because he thought Spencer was back in the CIA and was going to try to kill him. Apparently in the beginning of the movie when Spencer blew up a helicopter Jenny's dad was supposed to be in it but got suspicious when he saw Spencer in the same hotel. Thus, from a non fan point of view for Ashton Kutcher all the fighting scenen were a waste of time. I hope that no one thought that this was going to be a good action movie. I would call this a parody of a James Bond movie. The only thing hilarious about this movie was the alcoholic mother in the background who at the end of the movie still didn't know what was going on. Ashton Kuther did not even know how to hold a gun and you can tell that from the poster. And what was up with Heigls hair in the beginning of the movie?. All and all you really don't want to pay $13 for this movie. I do, mainly because im a huge fan of Ashton Kutcher and i like to see his muscles working in the big screen, who wouldn't pay big money to see a hunk like that?

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE - Trailer

Movies: Eclipse

As you all know i am a big movie fan and as the whole world knows i am a gigantic Twilight fan. So it is no surprise that i am very excited about the new installment in the Twilight movies, Eclipse coming out on June 30th. Eclipse continues the series with Victoria the nomad vampire coming out of hiding to built an Army of super vampires to try and kill Bella Swan who is protected by her boyfriend Edward Cullen and his family of five. Bella is also protected by best friend Jacob ( who is also in love with her) and his werewolf buddies who helped her heal after Edward broke up with her in New Moon. In this movie we see beautiful Edward played by Robert Pattinson and Bella played by Kristen Stewart make out which i cannot wait to see. I also cannot wait to see Edward cut off Victoria's head so yay!

While those of you who have not read the books thought that Jacob had given up when in New Moon Bella told him it was never gonna happen between them, those of you would be mistaken. For the sake of the plot Jacob persists all the way until almost the end of Breaking Dawn (the fourth book) to stop coming after Bella. He is not a villain but pathetic because he does not compare to the rich vampire Edward and because Bella keeps shutting him down. While its a shame i cannot wait to see Bella telling him no once again. I get a sick satisfaction of seeing his face fall with sadness and disappointment time after time. But none of this compares to watching Robert Pattinson in action on screen which i have not seen since Remember Me back in March. So people check it out because its more action, more romance and more comedy at watching Jacob being rejected like a sick puppy...oh the irony since that is exactly what he is. I don't know how they think that scrawny body is supposed to be a wolf's body. Hmmm, we are back to the sick puppy.

Talk: Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston

I know I'm a little late with this rumor....a lot late but i have been watching all of the episode of friends and have become obsessed with Jennifer Aniston which is why i had to put in my two cents about this triangle. I realized i had a blog when i found that i was talking to myself. So here are my two cents.

I think that Brad Pitt should have stayed with Jennifer Aniston. Of course people are going to say that if Angelina makes Brad happy then by all means we have no right to judge but lets just be practical and think about a perfect world where Aniston and Pitt would have stayed together. First of all i think they should have stayed together because i think Jennifer is more homey and while every man wants an elegant smoking hot wife like Angelina Jolie this will wear off after a while. Jennifer is the type of girl you build a family with while Angelina is the sex machine. And i know what people are going to say, "but Angelina does all of this good deeds and she is clearly a sweetheart with a compassionate nature and a very big heart" I completely agree with this statement she seems to really care about everyone in this entire planet but lets Psychoanalyze her for a bit.

Angelina while a great person to everyone else seems to not pay attention to her own family. I mean you see her adopting all these kids but Brad is the one that you see taking care of them. Brad looks neglected and tired. Every time i see a picture of him in a magazine i want to tell him to take a nap. Another thing is that Angelina has like a selection of who she helps, i mean she refused to adopt someone in Vietnam because she said that the kids in Africa needed more help. I mean how messed up is that? I think any child in any country who does not have parents are in need of help not just kids in Africa. The fact that Brad even mentioned it means that his opinion does not even matter in this relationship.But then again who really knows what is going on?

I understand that Jennifer does not do these good deeds and that she is not as elegant or smoking like Angelina but i think she was more in love with Brad then Angelina is. I think that Angelina is so busy taking care of everyone else that she forgets about her own family and i think she likes taking care of other people so that she does not have to deal with her own problems. I know that is mean that I'm criticizing her and the world really is a better place because of her. But relationship wise? i think Brad would have been better off with Jennifer. Angelina seems like the type who would do her good deeds and be too busy taking care of everyone else to have a relationship like Oprah does. She also does not look as in love with Brad as Jennifer was and while Jennifer could have acted in love she is not a better actress than Angelina Jolie so i think Angelina could have done a better job of acting in love and if she didn't is because she didn't have enough of that love to even do that. Once again, I dont question the love that she has for every human being in this planet but i do question the love in her personal life. As we all know i love Nicholas Cage and superhero movies so for there to be a combination of the two you know i was the first one in line. I tried to be cheap and see the movie online but i felt like i had to see it in theatres because the movie just looked too good. The movie is called Kick-Ass and it has made a lot of money these past couple of weeks not so much because of "Kick-Ass" played by Aaron Johnson but because of the mega fighter "Hit Girl" who is the daughter of Nicholas Cage, "Big Daddy", in the movie.

At first i thought Johnson was not attractive mainly because of the curly hair and the glasses and i was not really paying attention to him since the main sensation was "Hit Girl". It wasn't until i saw the movie "Angus, Thongs, And Perfect Snogging" that i finally realized he was gorgeous. I guess i just didn't like him with curly hair. As usual when i like an actor i wikipedia the actor and found out he was only nineteen. I kept scrolling down and did a double take when i read that he was engaged and had a baby on the way with someone named Sam Taylor Wood. Of course, i clicked on her name and almost fell over with shock and disgust.

I can deal with Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore but Johnson is only 19 to Wood's 43! Ashton had at least lived his life when he married Demi but Johnson still has his whole life ahead of him and he is going to spend it with a wrinkly 43 year old woman and her miraculous baby. I felt that with the baby and the engagement the kid must be feeling trapped. Until this day i am still disgusted and although people say to just let them live their life i still immaturely say,"ewww!".

Books: No Compromise by Rochelle Alers

I walked into Barnes and Noble yesterday and aside from seeing "the last song" with Miley Cyrus i rediscovered something much more interesting: Rochelle Alers. I absolutely loved this author when i was in middle school and began reading romance novels. I loved her for the fact that she creates this dominating, confident male characters and these independent beautiful women. SHE IS NOT A GHETTO WRITER! She is just so awesome and "no compromise" is my favorite book. The book is about a social worker for abused women who meets the military man Michael Kirkland who happens to be lethal(army) and sexy(he just is). The social worker, Jolene gets in trouble when one of the abusers of the women starts coming after her and of course here come Michael to the rescue and he says one of my favorite lines in the world: " im gonna put so much spurs of your ass you're gonna look like you have braces". Doesn't that crack you up? i love this guy and he is my favorite character in the whole world except for maybe Zarek who was created by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
ONCE AGAIN CHECK OUT THIS BOOK. IT IS A GUARANTEED GOOD BOOK!

Talk:Children

I'm seventeen so naturally i hate kids. But the other day at the library i saw these kids squatting and playing spies and they wanted to show me someone outside. One little black boy grabbed my hand and it was so soft and he looked up at me and he was so trusting and i loved kids again. I work in the children's room but i have been immune to the beautiful blond hair and blue eyed kids that come in but this little boy really pulled my heart strings.
There were three of them, one black, one Hispanic and one white and i marveled at three things.
1. How beautiful and innocent kids are and how they prove God exist because who else could produce something so extraordinary?
2. How racism may still be alive but there are still people who prove that racism is no longer inside them like the three different races represented in the three best friends.
3. How awesome it is that i get to work at the library and see so many kids grow up and educate themselves and play and do all the things that kids do that make people want to smile.
So, while i may not like kids it does not mean i don't appreciate them (and want to squeeze their plump cheeks!).

My touch 3g

I guess i need to update my cell phone interest. As you might have noticed by now aside from being a movie enthusiast and a bookworm i am also a cell phone fanatic. I recently got a My touch 3g and gave up a temporary blackberry pearl which i didn't want to get caught dead with. For those of you who don't know it's features I've pasted it below for your enjoyment. I've been playing with the phone for a few days and although the keyboard it's kind of hard to get used to, the phone itself is terrific. The android market place is also surprisingly great since I'm so used to installer or appstore on the ipod touch. She's out of my league movie review

As we all know Shes Out Of My League came out a few days ago and as we all know this movie was awesome...fine it was entertaining. I personally cannot get enough of Jay Baruchel, who happens to be the main actor in the movie. The movie is about a guy who meets a hot blond and cant believe she's interested in him. I thought it was adorable, mostly because Jay Baruchel sounds so Italian but is actually Canadian. He is very hot and he's crooked smile makes me melt. If you think so too check out "Fetching Cody". It's a film similar to the movie "the butterfly effect" with the even hotter Ashton Kutcher but the time traveling happens with a chair, not a notebook. She's out of my league it's not a must see, but if you think Baruchel is hot go stare at him i promise it's worth it!

Dominic by Elizabeth Amber

Today i finished reading Dominic by Elizabeth Amber and i highly recommend it because they are smokin'! These books are erotic books involving threesomes and orgies but still has a romantic twist. This book contains the story of Dominic and Vincent. Dominic a full satyr, half man half goat, has a mission to make love to a human female who is already mated in order to make her daughter the next demonhand. The daughter will become a demonhand once the current demonhand,Dominic, dies. To make a short story short the woman's husband is killed and she marries Dominic and they fall in love etc. Very erotic because as it turns out these satyr man seem to have two appendages of the male form instead of one when the sky contains a full moon. Doesn't that make you run to Barnes and Noble and buy a copy? yes!
Vincents story was completely shocking because he happens to create a Shimmerskin. a Shimmerskin is a woman or being who satyr man create out of mist when there is a full moon and their uncontrollable thirst for sex has to be quenched and they are single. However, after they are sated Shimmerskins leave again until the next full moon. But Vincent's became real after he summoned her too many times and he falls in love with her. In the beginning he didn't want anyone to find out but he later reveals he created her not only for him but for his brother Landon. And shocker: they both marry her and have sex with her. Making this a very entertaining book. So hail, rain or high water run to the nearest bookstore and prepare to be shocked. Zane got nothing on this woman.

Remember Me Tears

Of course since Im a Twilight fan i loved the movie, if just to stare at Robert Pattinson bang Emilie de Ravin against the wall and pull her hair. But i loved the movie for more than that. The movie teaches that people make an impact on other people, if not for forever for one lifetime. I realized that i do that everyday every time i put a smile on someone's face and i felt so sad that Rob died in the movie even though he got to see everyone around him happy because of him before he died. I asked myself, will i die when i make the people around me happy and will it be even more significant because i died? I felt this made the movie more beautiful and i dont want anyone to get discouraged because Rob died. At least he didn't die in vain. But still the tears rolled down my face one by one as if i was seeing Christ being crucified. While i'm happy he made a difference and that he was happy before he died im still a big fan of happily ever after. Pain and tears are what good movies are made of. I know we sometimes dont think we dont make a difference but it isn't true. Know this: you do make an impact on everyone around you and the only thing you have to make sure of is that you create more happiness than sadness.

2010 Movies

I Know this is a very exciting year because great movies are coming out, at least in my opinion. So if you like hunks or just good movies check out the movies that are coming out in the near future.

First things first....Robert Pattinson

As you know, if you haven't been living under a rock and you're a twilight fan, Robert Pattinson has a new movie coming up tomorrow called Remember Me. Like a good daughter i am forced to give up my rights to see Rob half naked with Emilie de Ravin in order to see "Our Family Wedding" with my mother. Now I'm going to give credit where credit is due, i loooove Carlos Mencia and he is hilarious but does comedy compare to hot sweaty muscles? does a human compare to a vampire? i don't think so which is why I'm still depressed.
I don't want to give up any spoilers for those who are not Robert Pattinson fans and have not already rushed to Wikipedia to see what Remember Me is about, but i will give you a brief summary. Basically both Pattinson's character,Tyler, and de Ravin's character,Ally have both seen tragedies in their lives. their lives cross when Tyler tries to stop a fight and gets beat up by a cop who turns out to be Ally's father, who just happens to be in one of Tyler's classes. They fall in love yada yada yada. Big surprise for the ending but i wont tell you what it is!
I like Robert Pattinson, he hasn't gotten to the stage where he thinks he's better than anyone else and i like that he's shy and single. surprisingly the movie that i think he was better in is not Twilight, its A Bad Mothers Handbook which is a small film. I absolutely loved it and Robert Pattinson happened to be a hot nerd boy who gets it on with a pregnant girl. In short, it was hot and romantic. I definitely Recommend it and also check out Remember Me because it turns out that Summit has been keeping the Eclipse trailer to themselves in order to show it with Remember Me according to Clevver TV, so definitely go see it if you're a Twilight fan. I suspect people will just go for the trailer and walk out but probably not, once you go Pat you never go back.



Oh beautiful Rob I'll have to see you Saturday instead of tomorrow, but at least i have the trailer to comfort me.
