Shows: House and Hugh Laurie

They call him the sexiest doctor after George Clooney. Personally I don't think George Clooney is handsome at all and ever since i saw that episode on Family Guy about that eyebrow thing he does i hate him even more.  His name is Hugh Laurie ladies and gentlemen and he stars in the hit doctor show House MD. He is the sexiest doctor i have ever seen and forget about Clooney.
House is sarcastic, sexy, gorgeous and a genius its Doogie Howser 20 years later and he is SEXY. Everytime he speaks sarcastically to a patient in the clinic his tone always implies "dumb ass" at the end of a sentence. For once i want him to go Red Foreman on someones ass and actually say DUMB ASS.  But he doesnt and it leaves me so disappointed. I know i watched this show late but in my defense i thought it premiered in like the 90's and i haven't gone that far back since Doogie Howser MD and its Neal Patrick Harris. I digress but did you know Harris plays the singing villain in an animated Batman movie...he was awesome. That guy is so talented. But back to House...also great and i just love sarcastic characters so i am really glad House is getting all of those awards. Im still on season 2 but hopefully i will hear the majestic words DUMB ASS ringing in my ear one of these episodes. I know i keep putting caps on DUMB ASS but i really want him to say it. I thought it really funny that he looked so awkward while kissing another actress and really awkward having sex with her. But seriously say DUMB AHSS!(get it ,say ahh?)no? oh well.

Shows: Two and a Half Men and Ashton Kutcher

I have been watching the show House these last few days because i have been waiting for good shows to come back, not that House is not a good show. I have been waiting for The Mentalist, How I met your mother (How awesome was the first episode of season 7?!) and Leverage. However, I have been anxiously waiting for the debut of Ashton Kutcher as Charlie Sheen's replacement in Two and a Half Men. I read some reviews of the shows premier which was off the charts at more than  20 million viewers. I know that when a person read reviews before seeing a show it influences how they see the show and i gave myself this disadvantage because I am a huge fan of Ashton Kutcher but i know that a lot of people do not like him. So i read the reviews and as predicted the viewers all hated Ashton Kutcher as Charlie Sheen's replacement and disdainfully claimed that the ratings were so high because viewers wanted to make a comparison and confirm that Ashton Kutcher was going to suck.
I love Ashton Kutcher because he entertains. He is funny, has puppy eyes, muscles and it is a pleasure to see anywhere. People do not have the same opinion because Ashton has never won a Grammy or an Emmy or whatever else so people do not take his career seriously. Ashton is not an actor that will make you cry and he has done some dramatic movies like The Butterfly Effect and has done very well but when you look for Ashton you look for comedy and a handsome actor. Ashton lifts the saddest moods that i could be in he is everything i would want in an actor. Yeah, Colin Firth is an awesome actor and he has won like a million Grammys and Oscars but his movies are boring and they are rarely set in this century. Critics like boring actors. Yeah don't give Ashton an award for making you laugh in That 70's Show. Yet give one to Colin Firth for playing a king that stutters, oh i think i need a handkerchief. A lot of people would disagree just because people like to hate Ashton Kutcher but faced with one of his movies and one of Colin Firth's they will see Ashton Kutcher's.
Now that I have ranted and given my reasons for my insane devotion i want to move on to Ashton Kutcher's performance. First of all the digs against Charlie Sheen in this episode entitled "Nice to meet you Walden Schmidt" are painful. I mean they cremate Charlie then Alan drops his ashes on the floor after Walden (Ashton Kutcher) startles him by appearing on the balcony. Then before that, they show the funeral with Charlie's ex- girlfriends and their criticism along with the numerous STD's he gave them. Add to that Rose's implication that she pushed him into an incoming train after she found him in the shower with another woman. I felt really bad for Charlie Sheen but i really loved how they cut him out. Ashton was hilarious as usual, i caught him smiling when he wasn't supposed to like he used to do on That 70's Show but it's part of his charm and really who doesn't want to see that smile?
So far Ashton's character is vulnerable, succinct, hilarious and laid back. I love Walden already and i have only seen one episode. Ashton displays the same qualities that Kelso had coupled with the billion dollars he's worth that allows him to conveniently buy Charlie's house. Bonus: I am a huge Apple fan and Ashton has also been very immersed in technology in real life so the dig about Microsoft buying Walden's software to make the Zune and create an " iPod killer" ( Yeah he did a quote gesture!) was awesome. Then Alan saying that the software didn't come with his Zune and Walden asking " You bought a Zune?" was even more hysterical. I mean it's true, who would buy a Zune over an iPod? So Walden is adorable on two counts; he is handsome and goofy like Kelso and he got one over on Microsoft by making them pay 1.3 billion dollars for his crappy software. Love this show already.
